After a long, arduous winter we all deserve some fun in the sun.
The Carrot Green Roof staff have been busy repairing and cleaning up the roof, the snow and ice took its toll.
This is the first year that the roof has a person dedicated to programming! All winter Peter Mitchell has been building relationships with local, urban agriculture organizations. 2014 will offer more workshops and activities on the roof than ever before.
Peter is the guy who knows everyone! He is a great collaborator and nothing gets him more excited than urban ag! He is the director for The World Crops Project where he received the Premier’s Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence and he sits on the board of the Carrot Cache!
